How many all rounders do India need? Hardik, Jadeja and Jadhav bowls some funky spin. Pant can win games off his own bat.

Opening match tomorrow...hope the weather stays good..England clear favorites.

There is so much talk in the press about Dale Steyn missing out and his X-factor. To be honest, would Steyn really make that much of a difference?  The game is so much in favour of the batsmen now. One could probably count the number of bowlers who might actually have an impact on your fingers; and Steyn is definitely not one of them.

What's the point of having bowlers if pitches are going to be "batting friendly"!! Why not just put bowling machines in front of sloggers and call it a day. These batting friendly tracks have ruined cricket.

Pitches will be good for batting and that’s good for the crowd...however this is England early summer and I still think the best bowlers will have a big impact. We are not going to get 400 every match.

England as clear favourites worries the hell out of me ! This is the best one day side in my memory but can we really bowl out the good teams...

Very excited and very nervous for our matches.

This is Dale Steyn we're talking about here, right - the man with the 8th best ODI strike rate of all time? Imagine Roy and Bairstow won't exactly be unhappy about facing up to Chris Morris instead...
Good game to start the tournament off I think, South Africa not exactly among the favourites but still plenty of serious players in their side.

Doubt they'll want a repeat of the Eng vs NZ game last WC.

Interesting that Boult has been forced to change his action as this new white ball is not swinging. Forced to become more round arm to get it to swing for the first 10-12 balls (if that)

Bairstow gone first ball - opening up with spin and it's paid off.

Can imagine a fair few teams opening up with spin against these two now
