I don't understand why we are bowling so many bouncers/long hops. Yes Pakistan got demolished by Windies but the likes of Thomas and Russell default mode is bowling short.

Woakes and Stokes are medium paced and don't have that intimidation. Wood is quick but as he's short in height Pakistan have handle him decently

I love England fans, one suspect fielding display and we've apparently lost the World Cup! Are other nations this fickle?

Moeen the pick of the bowlers today, didn't everyone want to drop him last week?

As for Archer none for 79 off his 10 today, I expect everyone to start calling for him to be dropped...

Does anyone else feel SA's decline began when quotas were introduced?
Pick your team on ability, not colour.

That is my opinion also.  They screwed up the last WC with decision to play Philander who was not 100% instead of Abbott in the semi's and lost whole bunch to Kolpak deals.

It did look like a useless performance. But I am hoping it's simply that the wicket was rather flat and lifeless and impossible to get any real movement from?
I do like Archer but he kept bowling so many bouncers that he started becoming predictable.....maybe a bit of inexperience creeping in? The guy is very young after all
So I feel Morgan or one of the more experienced bowlers should have had a little word to him about throwing in the odd surprise bouncer? (not every other ball!)
So not a great day at the office in the field. Fingers crossed we show more fight with the bat.

Safe to say today wasn't Roy's best in an England shirt...

A fitting way to cap an absolute stinker of a day for Roy. Not sure what Bairstow was thinking letting him review that either.

I wonder why Roy had a word with Ump Erasmus if the review declared him out.
