Carey finishes well again, there would be an argument to put him ahead of Stoinis as atleast Carey shows some interest in turning the strike over and playing a team game. I think Australia probably would have taken 285 after losing the toss. Should be an exciting chase!

285 is a lot less than I thought we’d be chasing.

Aus under archive at the end or did we bowl well?


Still not hugely confident without Roy opening and with how we played against Sri lank and pak.
Bairstow honestly doesn’t look the same opener without someone scoring quick at the either end(notice what he does opening with hales Roy warner etc, compared to when he’s with Vince or a quick wicket falls)

Still. Come on England!!
