Eurgh - disappointing from Moeen - I’m not saying I was expecting him to knock them off but was hoping he’d dig in a little more than that

Just stinks of complacency and an inept attitude to batting on anything other than roads. Had their destiny in their own hands, and just throwing it all away

I just pray to God we see Moeen/Vince out and Roy/Plunkett back in; no need to play two spinners today either

Needed Wiley in these conditions with it swinging - there would always be a game where they would need him

That Tag of flat track bullies is suiting England

Just need Baylis to say we need to look at the data and this WC campaign is complete.

At least it wasnt an ugly hoick! That was a genuinely good delivery to a new batsman.

Nonetheless, Moeen cannot be relied upon as a batsman.

When we play on flatter pitches and pile up 350-400 we can afford to carry a passenger like Moeen. When the conditions don’t allow gung-ho cricket Moeen is a liability. Averaging 25 with the bat and 49 with the ball. You’d struggle to see such a mediocre player get a game for a minnow nation let alone the worlds number 1 side.

As for Vince, he’s not good enough. But the biggest idiot is Hales. Case closed.

Gotta look at Bayliss here - we can’t just play one brand of cricket here.

Also look at some of his selections - Rash looks ineffective and not fully fit, why play Archer if not fully fit, and why even bother with Vince?

This game was lost at the toss...why bowl first?

We seem to prefer chasing and if there was anything in the wicket I guess they thought it would be early in the match.

Like any game thou if you keep your wicket it helps players coming in behind you and that's what the Aussies did.

To be no wicket down for 90 is a great start, credit to them they are a very good side.

Vince is clearly a sandwich short of a picnic in big matches despite having all the shots, he has been very disappointing, and Curran does inject some youth in the field and don't seem overawed at all.

I expected us to lose this game but for the first time find myself in total agreement with @Mister Le Chiffre - he has got it spot on about Hales

An absolute shoe in in Roy's absence.or should have been.

Aussies would’ve ripped though the England line up in those conditions. England had the best of conditions
