Baffling from India, why are they not tryin to hit boundaries?
Bit late to the party here, but watching live I did wonder if Pandya and Dhoni were a bit distracted from the actual match by trying to remember what over they were supposed to be switching bats...

If Pant is in the team he needs to play as keeper, which will not happen until Dhoni retires.  I feel sorry for Karthik.  The guys gets selected in the original 15 but does not get any games, unless India consider him strictly a backup keeper.  He is also a better fielder than Pant.

After watching Pant in Australia in 2018?, I certainly rate him as a batsman and he's thoroughly obnoxious behind the stumps which is irritating to batsman and good for the team I think. I would put him in the same category as Maxwell, he won't always make runs and be responsible and will be prone to brain fades but when it's happening for him he's a match winner.
Dhoni's skills with the gloves have been below par in my opinion but I can't see him in the field and Pant behind the stumps.

I feel sorry for WI, so close on a couple of occasions and if not for poor decision making and silly mistakes they would have won a couple of really close matches which would be great for team morale instead of heatbreak.

India bat first against Bangladesh. As if two keepers wasn't enough, India also now include Karthik in place of Jadhav. Kumar also replaces Kuldeep.

Bit unfair on Jadhav being dropped for that non-chase

Jadeja still not picked. Don't think Bangladesh will mind chasing

Unless Rahul gets a massive hundred don't see how he can play when Agarwal joins the squad. Rahul struggling to hit the ball off the square most of the time

Not sure if anyone noticed, Rohit Sharma is using a SS bat ( sticker on top of the handle) and there is his name on the toe.

This guy Rohit makes it look too damn easy. His average as opener is approaching 60, staggering

Fourth hundred in this World Cup for Rohit, joins Sangakkara as the only two men to score 4 centuries in one tournament.

195-2 Sharma 104 and Rahul 77 as Bangladesh try to slow the Indians down. Lacklustre effort by Rahul
