That's the chase over - should go for 240-250 and secure a semi final place

At what stage can England fans start to relax and enjoy today's game?

All the while Williamson is there I'm nervous.
New Zealand have the power in the middle order that the rate won't be overly concerning for them yet, either.

@WalkingWicket37 agreed key wickets in my opinion would be Williamson and De Grandehomme here. 2 players in form and De Grandehomme can give it a good whack.

The most satisfying thing about this is pretty much knocking Pakistan out

Williamson is such a class player so breathed a sigh of relief whe he went - REALLY unlucky dismissal to be fair!!

Just what was Taylor thinking? I don't mind but that was such a village way to go!  :o

NZ probably don’t deserve a semi finals spot. Got lucky early on with some tosses on green tops then a washout

Aren’t batting too well. Batting order is all wrong - Latham should be opening with nicolls in the middle order

Semi’s line up looks like aus vs nz and ind vs eng

Being rained off against India may have got nz into the semis.

Based on the article on Cricinfo - https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/27094787/how-england-win-affects-bangladesh-pakistan

The top four are now pretty much set based on the current state of Eng/NZ game.  The only question would be who will be 1st or 2nd.  My guess it will stay as is Aus, India, Eng and NZ.

For Pakistan to make it to semi's they will have to beat Bangladesh by 300+ runs and I do not see that happening based on current form of both teams.  I expect Bangladesh to actually win the game and both end up on 9 points.

Wish it was 1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4...at least gives a chance of Ind vs Eng final rather than a possibly another Ashes ODI final which we will be watching for the rest of the summer...
