@shadowlight the only list Markram should be on is the disappointments. Not just for the world cup, but ODIs in general!

Fair enough.  The other player that I missed was Imam-ulHaq.

Pakistan bat first against Bangladesh. Pakistan can still go through if they score 400+ and then skittle Bangladesh. Not happening in a month of Sunday’s.

Shaun Marsh out of the tournament with a broken arm.

They should move to the IPL style format for the knockout stage, with 1 vs 2, winner to the final and loser to play the winner of 3 vs 4.
It’s a World Cup not a mercenary T20 league

Pakistan are in danger of being out of the World Cup before their 50 overs is up at this rate!

sky sports showing the final free IF England get there so I hear..

a small victory for those of us on the forum, and thousands of others, who believe England Internationals should be available for families on lower incomes.

Ind/Pak and AUS/Eng would have been fantastic semi finals.

This might be the first time a team is knocked out after four consecutive wins (Pak), and also the first time a team qualifies despite theee consecutive losses leading up to the semis (NZ).
