I wouldn't myself unless it was under 100 which it won't be. However the only storm damaged salix I had did lasted two seasons and was still going when a team mate bought it off me.
Two other storm damaged bats have broken within a couple of weeks, including a handpicked IJC one. One reason I'm not a fan of handpicking by retailers.
I got my salix direct from Andrew Kember and he explained very clearly the weakness in the bat when I bought it.
I think myself I would avoid any stress marks around the splice area, this tends to go 'in half' if it does break.
It's a gamble thou buying one of these.As long as you know when thinking of buying one then there's no surprises.
