@dt-second-hand-cricket I am envious of your ability to find top gear without being caught up in the idea that new shiny kit is what you really need!

@Alvaro - every penny is a prisoner for me - so new and shiny has never been an option - must admit i look on here quite often and am very envious of all the quality kit people have and how classy it looks - if i used anything else apart from my scruffy used stuff i would be the very epitome of 'all the gear - no idea'!!!

My 2019 kit is almost all in this previous post/review.

http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=45094.0

Besides the ACE kit, the bits I have are as follows:

Spikes- Nike Lunar Dominate from 3/4 years ago, Asics Gel (turquiose/yellow from a couple of years back), NB CK4030 blue and yellow. I'm considering a pair of Adidas or getting some trainers spiked up.

Lids- Shrey Masterclass Air Ti, with an Albion ultimate 98 Ti/elite pro Ti as backup. Green elite Pro Ti for Frogs fixtures.

Bats- my B3 as reviewed at the end of season. I did sticker it up as an ACE but I did a rubbish job of it so will get it refurbed when I'm back home and proper stickers back on it. I've got a JP Gavan featherblade on the way, and I'm looking at a Kingsport Deadly, or a couple of other Aussie sticks. Also at home (so no pics atm) are my impulse (with loads of glue holding it together), Newbery Quantum LE in ssh, my GM Flare, Ice Sub Zero (repaired and refurbed end of season). I think that's the lot at the moment.

Bag- as mentioned in my ACE review above, I was disappointed that they don't have a standard duffle. For training I will be using my Legget and Coe duffle, and I got an Adidas black duffle in the all rounder black Friday offer for 20 quid.

Still in the making!

Have a tour to the West Indies in the spring so building up some new kit. I’m starting off with a pair of Hunts County Revolution pads (£20) and blank bats gloves (£18) - happy with that for brand new softs!

Can't see myself getting to much more only a long sleeve playing top..

This has been my match kit so far this season:

Recently bought 2 more bats so am up to 7 now. Funnily enough they are all UK made. Going to offload the Affinity's though as they aren't in my weight range and I can't seem to not use my Newbery (Helios Atlas) even though it is 6 years old:

Spare stuff in my Duck and Run coffin and is probably my favourite bit of kit tbh. It cost me AUD$400 ($200 for the bag and $200 for postage) though. Have a lot of spare gloves and a spare Remfry (yes I know haha) stashed in there.

My kit for 2019....... it's much the same as last season apart from a new set of gloves - Choice Victory LE (far left), and I picked up an extra bat on EBay for the bargain price of £50, it's a refurbished (but no damage) Neon Orange.

Just need a bit of a general clean up before the season and a scuff and toe guard on the new bat.

@Maverick79 do you get on well with your M&H duffle? I've seen something that looks similar but wondered if you had any thoughts before taking the plunge. The top opening looks a bit small but I'm not sure if pictures are just deceptive (yours looks ok). I'm guessing the side pockets are too small for pads too??? Cheers!

The duffle is decent at much more practical than my old T1 wheelie. The top opening isn't the biggest but doesn't cause me any major problems. I stick my pads in the long outer pockets which leaves plenty of room in the main section. I can also fit 3 bats comfortably in the bat cave even though descriptions say there's only space for two.

@langer17 your kit looks ace, i am very jealous of those bats. The Aldred and Affinity’s go well?

Id love a coffin as well. I think that is what 8 am most jealous of.

The aldred is easily one of the best pressed bats I've ever had with the Affinity carbine is just behind it. I haven't used The voodoo and persona but they tap up well, they just require knocking and playing in.

The newbery (formerly Helios Atlas) has been the best bat I've had. Everything about it is just perfect to me (handle size and shape, balance). Feels perfect in the hands so that is why I bought the 2 Ayrteks as eventual replacements for it, as they just felt right in the hands...... and a nice discount didn't hurt haha.

The coffin was shipped over to Aus, then I took with me over to the UK and then brought it back to Aus again, so it is well traveled haha.

So a couple of changes from this. Got a few sets of stickers from Ace so the B3 is again stickered as an Ace plus a few spare sets for my sticker less weapons at home. I also picked up a couple of pairs of Ace Vice gloves in their 30% off new year sale, so pics of bat and gloves will follow!

Once I've got a tablet again I will post the pictures properly rather than the links. Been a couple of months since mine got cooked by a power surge and still no compensation.

My kit for 2019:

Bag - Woodstock Pro Stand Bag
Pads - Blank pads found on ebay, they seem to be blank Newbery SPS although happy to be corrected.
Thigh pads - Custom Stretton Fox set of inner and outer.
Gloves - Woodstock Platinum White gloves, I am looking to pick up another couple of pairs of these before the season starts proper.
Helmet - Shrey Air Masterclass 2.0 Steel
Box - Ayrtek
Trainers - Spiked up Nike trainers I got on a black friday deal
Bats - 2 Woodstock Classic Players LE both 2.11 fully gripped and scuffed. The Woodstock Festival is a refurbed and restickered SF Max Impact, I wanted to try some new stickers and I think the Festival ones look amazing.
