Helmet logos in internationals.

Do Masuri have a deal with the ICC or something? In all the internationals and Big Bash, IPL etc, only Masuri helmets have their name on display. Shrey, Gray nics etc are all blanked out.  🤔

More than likely they have deals with the international cricket boards to be official supplier and depending on that deal will depend on whether they cover other brands or not, espeically in things like BBL. I think player sponsorship plays a part in it too. I.e if a brand who sponsors a player produce a helmet and that player chooses to wear say a Shrey over their own lid then they may be asked to cover the logo.

What amuses me is when you see (mainly) subcontinental batsman wearing a masuri where you can see masuri written above the ears and they stick an ss badge on the back

No different to stickering up bats. Space for hire.

Cricket Australia’s official safety partner is Masuri. Cricket Australia contracted players are provided with Masuri products. They must wear unbranded products if hey don’t wear Masuri. I think it even extends to the player having to find their own insurance should they not wear an approved product (can’t remember if this refers to compliant v non compliant helmets though)

A few years ago the Australian Board did try to enforce a policy of all international players wearing a helmet made by the Board's sponsor but backed down after the threat of legal action (essentially that the Board put the players at risk if they couldn't use their preferred safety equipment) so this seems to be the Board's response.

I don't have a handle on the figures you would be talking to get an international player to wear your helmet - I know some denying playing at all - but it can't be that much if players are prepared to accept the blank out of helmets other than the Board's partner.  It is hard to see them being able to enforce a similar policy for example on bat sponsors
