Small duffles / the new GN Pro Performance Rucksack
« on: February 22, 2019, 12:52:20 PM »

Context: I am in London and therefore prefer a duffle rather than a wheelie bag.

My main bag is the big Newbury Quantum, and its cavernous size means I store all my kit in it during the winter (except bats).

I've been looking for a smaller duffle as a net bag for when I'm carrying limited kit and don't want to lug the big guy around. There are a few options, including some budget-friendly GMs from the new range. However, this caught my eye:

The bottom section is extendable so I think it would just about take a pair of men's pads, and there's a makeshift bat section as well. Part of me thinks it's weird, but I could see the appeal of using it as just a regular backpack as well.

Thoughts?

Seems to be 50cm long with the extension so not long enough for pads. I must admit I got pretty excited about that bag when I first saw it for similar reasons.

A quick Google suggested an average pad is about 50cm, am I wrong?
