Gray Nicolls Powerbow 6 900
« on: February 22, 2019, 08:19:36 PM »

Just received it, thought you guys would like to see it's profile, it's very full, mid Low, think there's enough hitting power at just less than 2.10lb, it's pickup is really really very good 🙂 feels at least 2.9lb.

That was on eBay was a lovely looking blade and yes they are nice bats although personally never found the pick up that good unless you make the handle super thick which isn’t something I like. Either way a lovely looking bat

According to IJC gn have addressed pickup issues with previous powerbow by it's duckbill toe and I confirm that's true for this one  really lovely pickup

Only thing I can add it's not as big as MB Malik H Pro, but willow quality is definitely the same, as I've started knocking this gn as well 🙂

And it's handle is thicker than Kronus, think it compliments it's blade

Received it yesterday, only to cover that powerbow 6 900, 2.8lb, there's butterfly stain to be seen on it's inside edge, which I like, it's a big bat, smaller edges then 900, duckbill toe is longer, mallet response is better than I expected,it's factory prepared, non oil, edges are taped, think it worked out nicely, being butterfly stained, expect it to fly a bit and they both pick up nicely as well

Looks nice.

Sportswarehouse.co.uk seem to be offering these for £99.99
That sounds like very good value?

Here is the link. Maybe this is an old version of the bat? Other websites seem to be displaying pics of a powerbow 6 1000

Most likely a typing error and its probably a 300 model. They dont seem to have many 400 pound bats on there

That's a wrong one
Most likely that is a junior bat, which is also a 900 and 1000, otherwise you must go for that one, its RRP £425 for 900 and RRP £550 for 1000 one

Well if it's wrong they are using the same photo as on the AllRounder cricket website where it is £327.99.

Do you think it's worth a punt? They say they do free 30 day returns if the wrong item is delivered. Does anyone have experience of their customer service?

Both have had 1 indoor net, MB been much better bat powerbow 6 300 is its impressive too, feels very hard higher blade, might be because of it's been a butterfly strained bat.
MB has a higher middle than gn.
I was thinking, all I be hitting hitting the ball as high as this or it be much lower at outdoor nets?
