International 100s with different bat sponsors
« on: February 27, 2019, 06:26:51 PM »

With Morgan's 100 today I make it that he's scored international hundreds with 5 bat sponsors,

Slazenger
Kookaburra
Spartan
SF
CA

Has there been a more varied mix?

Younis Khan had a different sponsor every week, so probably.

Do we reckon Morgan's bat is actually CA made?

The one he was using today was the same as his SF one. It has the exact same shape, heartwood, toe tape etc.

Interesting sticker on his handle though

Based on the typical CA type handle (5 inserts instead of 3) in the picture, it would seem so.

I have a CA with that kind of handle. Maybe, he was using a CA with an SF sticker on it. Things that make you go 'hmmm'.

Yeah same bat by the looks of it. The shape looked a bit like a Kippax Problade. Funny how not many of the players bats are actual stock shapes you'd get off the shelf. Lots of people spending money to have bats like their idols, which are nothing like them.

I'd guess more than likely that the bat he is using is an old one of goodness knows which make, and the one he's pictures with below it is one of a new batch of CA's he's received since signing with them.

yup and thats the big debate isnt it! The pros literally wouldnt use the garbage that is the stock bats from these sponsors so it is totally misleading to customers especially the younger players
