My goodness there’s some lovely bats on this thread.
A gamble worth taking by the looks of it.

it is a regular SH, only damage was a small compression of the toe on the inside edge for a leftie - quick glue and clamp and you can only see the difference if you look down on the toe, face and edges in much better condition than i expected (no dents/compression etc)

He’ll accept an offer of 140. Number 2 left. I went for £135 and he hasn’t respond!

Looks like it’s delaminated and been glued doesn’t it?

And missing half a toe. Any other owner it’s a £30-£50 bat.

£170 seems a fair hit for a used bat that hasn’t cost the seller anythibg, we want to know the ins and outs of a cats (No Swearing Please) on here when someone lists a used bat with pics from all angles, edge sizes, handle girth and god knows what else before offering 40% less than its advertised for!

Yet as soon as the P word is dropped 7 of them sold within a week 🤷‍♂️

Very true, couldn’t sell and brand new GM signature with different stickers for basically half price but a few used and in some cases busted pro’s bats sell for more than brand new custom options from sponsors or flavour of the month brands. Hell im not for one second telling people how to spend there money and in some cases it’s great to own a actual pro bat as cricket nerds but makes a mockery of what some believe is a good deal

I completely agree with you. Usually, EBay is a gamble. But after looking at these pictures, they look pretty decent. G1 these days cost around £250 so these bats don’t look such a bad deal. I agree with @Ayrtek Cricket about how P letter change the people perspective but I personally don’t think I can do justify buying Pro bats.

I'm really not sure how much better they can be? You can only get so much out of a bit of wood! They don't look bad bats tbf, but won't 'ping' much (if any) better than anything else. Each to their own tho, you pays yer money.....
