I do wonder where the value is in some of these deals.  I can't recall ever seeing an opponent use Spartan kit

Selling to juniors and the more casual players who will alwyas stick to what they see on tv

Have you come across any club players, junior or senior, using Spartan kit?

I've seen one Spartan bat in the wild, about 3 or 4 years ago when Michael Clarke was their poster boy.  Not a single thing since.  NB though you see all over the place, while you may be paying for the branding in lots of cases, with NB the branding is very well done, the players they got involved are/were all well thought out and they had a solid brand behind them.  Still wouldn't buy one though, value for money is my prime consideration in most of my purchases, cricket related or otherwise.  Don't mind paying more if I perceive extra value in that, but as I've said elsewhere I find it hard to see past either a GM Signature or 606 or something affordable from India or Pakistan.  That said, every now and then I'll feel all patriotic and buy something from an English manufacturer.

One of my team mates has a Morgan Steel bat... was a big sale so made it good value. Nice looking stick too

Maybe behind the action here but did I notice in IPL that Gayle is now completely hiding the Spartan logos on his bat with the Universe Boss thing? Just wondering if his relationship with spartan is also going wrong?

Theres definitely a lot of Spartan bats out there, I'd say a good 20% of all the refurbs I've done this year have been Spartan - that being said I rarely see any on the field!

Gayle’s still with spartan. The shoulder stickers still say spartan

Also appears to be lots of Spartans on eBay and spartan stickers. Difficult to judge which bats are real and not given

I believe all of these are genuine as they are from the guy who runs XX cricket which made bats for Spartan. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/hlg_133/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

if gayle is using his own branding with little or no spartan branding, is this a sign they probably owe him a dumpload of money too so have given him part of the business?
