18 this season weather permitting (Saturday's only). A team has recently pulled out of our division so the number of matches are down from the normal 20/22.

Any batsmen who've had seasons playing <15 and >35 games, do you feel like your game improves the more you play, or not necessarily?

Started mid April and finished early October. But did go on a tour abroad pre season with the club, one in the uk towards the back end of the league season and played a fair few wednesdays too. Lot of cricket going on at our club.

Yeah, if I played in every game played by my 2 clubs, that would be about 60 games.

As it is I will probably play about 25 games.

As the season progresses, you do get better because of a number of reasons. It also depends on your body and the recovery period for your body. Some people don't recover quickly enough from the stains of games as other do. Also, there is the factor of mental fatigue - people want to do other things besides cricket (atleast I do :D). There is a fine balance that needs to be struck for every individual based on their physiology, mental makeup, and other life circumstances.
