National Premier T20 Championship
« on: March 05, 2019, 09:56:08 AM »

Anyone else paying attention to this?

I've flown to Adelaide to support Jake, our overseas at Ansty, and his team Sutherland. They've gone two from two, with some massive hits and a quality hundred in the first game followed by the best leg spin spell I've seen live in years. It's being live streamed so you may find Sutherland tomorrow as they've made the semis, and you may see me lobster pink on the sideline.

The standard has been really high from what I've seen, apart from a couple of players but obviously the sides won't have all their players available.

I managed to tune in to end of the Sydney Uni Vs East Torrens game today, the CA live app coverage is quite good and it's really interesting to see the standard difference between the respective state premier competitions.

I could imagine if they had the sensibility to hold this competion whilst there wasn't a Sheffield sheild game in progress that there would be some pretty handy names available for the teams.

Evan Gulbis did bits today. 107* in the semi, took my mate for 29 off the last over, then closed out the innings as Carlton beat University of Queensland to take home the championship.
