Resurrecting an old thread as there didn't seem to be any point in creating another. An edit of my first hit in a number of weeks with my coach yesterday, a bit rusty and a few things to work on. My first video on here - Please feel free to comment/give feedback/advice

That's Jason isn't it? How do you rate his coaching mate?

Yeah, it is and he knows his stuff. I've been using him since May last year and in my first session he had me sussed after 5 mins and made immediate changes to my technique. I feel a much better player as a result of his coaching and it helps me that he's quite strict in terms of what he wants from me when working on a particular aspect. I've gone from not being confident against the bowling machine at 55+ to quite happy at 65.

Here's one from me, helmet cam footage so not that interesting but first net I've had since I got the camera on black friday and thought I'd give it a whirl, few of us from my club had a post-christmas hit about yesterday.
Criticism of course welcome if you can come up with any based on a hemet cam video!

That video was on my fb page earlier! Jason is a good coach, strongly recommend mate. I used to go to see him regularly, though I'll hopefully steal a few minutes of my brother's session on Sunday.

Nice guy, really helped my legspin, but my batting transformed under him.
He might have even though highly of me, sadly only as a net player .

Need the mental side to come good this year .

^ too much movement with the helmet mounted camera. If you're looking to assess your technique, you're better off with a stationary camera set near the opposite stumps.

Ha yeah of course, I just wanted to try this out in nets as I'd modded an old lid with a tripod mount for it, will be fun to use in midweek friendlies during the season I reckon.

Yes, i agree. all bowlers were from lower division. I will try posting another video if possible with better bowling. It's just the second indoor practise and during Sep to Dec there is practically no cricket because I am here in Canada and don't have the facilities/demand etc. etc.

Noticeable moments:

2:02 - getting cleaned up by a Yorker

And the 3 times I actually middled the ball:

5:11 and the last 2 shots from 8:35 onwards.

Also people my notice a new slim line @uknsaunders in the video. He's been working hard on his fitness and the rewards are showing!
