Yeh i have done that. Many that claim to be performance look more like their asian counterparts. There is one very good one but it doesn't look like it has too many more runs left in it.

In my experience a laminate has no extra performance than a regular bat. Ive had 2 so my experience is limited but I got told by someone in the know that a good standard bat offers the same in performance as a laminate.

My twin brother has a TK laminate. The performance is top quality. I had one very good H4l bat that matched it, but its more the longevity. I have had 3 £300 + bats for his one.  Although maybe I just play worse shots ahaha

@Kulli can let you know how many runs are left ;)

No idea, but it hasn’t had many runs taken out of it  :(

I have one but not selling it. It is fantastic. I haven’t even touched it with mallet yet.

I'm not quite sure I understand the attraction of the one on Ebay (that doesn't mean I'm not watching it!). I thought the idea of the laminate bats was to bond an ugly low density cleft to a nice grainy bit of willow so you get a huge light bat that really pings. Or do I have it wrong? Is there some other Keeley magic involved that I've missed?

A laminate bat is usually made to increase ping by glueing a thin strip of willow onto a cleft have seen  one which consisted  of 3 pieces of willow glued together

There are essentially two types of laminate, for performance or for size/looks. If you use the search function here you'll likely find heaps of into on them.
