Highest score without a 100
« on: April 26, 2019, 02:37:21 PM »

I see that Notts scores 433 in 50 overs today and the highest score was a couple os 80s. I was just wondering what the highest scores have been in matches test/ODI/T20 without one player making 100?

Also what are your teams highest totals without any one player making 100?

On a side note i once played in a game where we scored 108 all out and the opposition chased it down with one of their openers getting 96, we finally caught him on the boundary after some huge blows!

It's from 2015 so I don't know if any of the totals have been beaten but here it is:

Quote
The highest total in a one-day international without a century is South Africa's 392 for 6 against Pakistan in Centurion in 2006-07, when the highest individual score was Jacques Kallis's 88 not out. Next comes England's 365 for 9 against New Zealand at The Oval earlier this month, when the highest individual contribution was 88 by Eoin Morgan. The Test record is India's 524 for 9 declared against New Zealand in Kanpur in 1976-77, when the highest individual score was just 70, by Mohinder Amarnath, one of six half-centuries in the innings. That record almost went in Perth in December 2009, when the highest score in Australia's 520 for 7 declared against West Indies was Simon Katich's 99.

As for our team, pretty much every total we make doesn't contain a century. :*(

I can't remember international scores. I watch a match enjoy it on day and forget about it. Not sure if it's good thing or bad.
Regarding our team we once score 300+ with 98 being highest. Opposition chased it in 35 over one guy scoring 150.
