My lad is doing rather well at the minute and his cheap and nasty GM just wasn't cutting the mustard any more, he started playing for a very good Brum league team and I was looking around and felt a bit bad he was going out to bat with the bat I had got him for all of £13. I sent out the bat signal to some of our Forum sponsors and I must sat I was genuinely blown away with just how helpful and their willingness to get a decent bit of willow for the Boy, so thanks to all that responded. @Ayrtek Cricket was super quick off the mark and presented me with this little beauty, weighs in at 2lb 4oz's. not much working in was needed and it was used in the nets last night, the ping sounded tremendous and my lad is absolutely over the moon with it! pics below.
