Oh my days, the umpiring this Test has been atrocious!

I'm there for day 1 against Ireland.

I won't be as quick as others to write Broad off.

However if Ballance plays test cricket again I may take up baseball.

ICC should get rid of the umpires and just have every decision checked by DRS. 6 wrong decisions in 40 overs

While the umpiring has been awful, so has Australia's (lack of) use of DRS...

I always surprised about the lack of love for Stuart Broad give  that he is England's second highest wicket taker and the 7th highest wicket taker in test history.  He has produced so many game changing spells over the years

4th and 5th will be ok. Erasmus is a good umpire even if Dharmasena had a shocking world cup

Smith is in a class of one in Test cricket. Kohli and Williamson are great yet no way near Smith

I wonder whether it is time to have 1 English and 1 Aussie umpire in the Ashes - they are so much better than the other umpires.

Only 5 out of the 12 Elite Panel Umpires aren't from either England or Australia - so it doesn't leave much options
