Before we all get carried away it is 2s cricket however he's proven his fitness and shown a bit of form!!

Good to see all that was needed for our spirits to be lifted and the Ashes to be coming home, was a 6 for and a 50 against a county 2nd eleven!  :D

It’s great that he got the hundred but does England need another stroke maker?  IMHO playing this really was not an indication that he is ready for Lords from fitness perspective.

They wouldve organised the T20's to use the Internationals that were already there no?

Any new players coming into the Test series now will be ill-prepared because they'll have been playing nothing but T20.  Most of the existing players prepared by playing in a lengthy World Cup tournament.

We should not be surprised when we fail horribly to bat a day to save a Test match.  Zak Crawley really is not the answer.

Altogether now: Sweet Caroline, oh oh oh...
