See now the thing is that Leach has probably overstepped a dozen times already but they haven't called it because they never check and the consequence of that is Leach thinks his front foot is perfectly fine.

I think Jofra is carrying some injury, plus Root has over bowled him the last two matches.  Last test he was walking back gingerly towards his run up.

Archer's speeds have been on the decline, hasn't got the fitness to keep bowling at that pace. Doesn't help that root has bowled him into the ground

At the time of posting this, he's bowled 94 overs in Tests since his debut (14th August).

Root has bowled into the ground and asked him to keep going!

Archer just doesn’t seem that Johnson style bowler whom enjoys whacking it in half way down. Archer seems more like Steyn - bouncers are a secondary option

Secondly obviously Archer must be fatigued but he doesn’t play enough red ball cricket to get miles In the legs. T20 obviously made him rich but doesn’t prepare you for Test matches
