This lad needs to come in, along with a specialist opener. The only way I can see it happening is if one is chosen from bairstow and butler, and one of Denly or Roy because they basically do the same job and I'm not sure how much longer we can carry on being unbalanced.
I'm a bit retro, back to more specialists which means Foakes plays ahead of bairstow and butler....but I don't see England picking him or making wholesale changes.
Don't know whether Roy deserves more time now at number 4. Of the above presuming Foakes remains out in the cold I would pick(from my armchair
