Duffle recommendation please
« on: July 19, 2019, 09:27:07 AM »

Hi all,
Just recently got into cricket at the age of 44 having never played before in my life. Ive been buying all the various kit but need a bag large enough for it all.
Im after a duffle that has large side pockets on either side that can take a pad each, two bat sleeves inside, seperate shoe compartment and then room for helmet and other kit.

Any ideas?

First of all.. well done on wanting to start cricket at your age  :)

Some of us are thinking of retiring, really cool that you are playing, and hope you enjoy it and gain the love that we all have for the game!

I have a GN Supernova from a few years back and it is nice and roomy... not looked at what's out there at the moment, but am sure there will be plenty of people offering great advice!

Yes, very brave, well done. I restarted aged 50 after a 38 year (!) break. I am still loving every match, won or lost, and the aches and pains are not too bad yet...

Loads of good duffles on the market, but most are a bit of a tight squeeze for full kit. There is a thread on duffles from a couple of weeks ago.

B3 large duffle is great and has wheels as well, which makes life very easy.
