Interesting to watch for sure and good to see the game growing in other countries.

Not a massive fan of the 50m boundaries though, especially on an absolute road. I mean when there's regularly mishits going for 6's it doesn't help the bowlers at all. But I guess in T10 the organisers just want the biggest scores possible.

Got to say some of the fielding has been rather questionable.

I see potential in Pavel Florin.

Pavel  is full of passion and that comes from his primary skill which is rugby. We have some talented Romanian kids coming up, hopefully will get chance in ECL in next year.

I’d like to see some of the tossers on Twitter go tell the lad to his face he’s crap...

Fair play to him for giving it ago.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think there may be a slight kink in his elbow when he bowls! :D

Fair play to the lad for giving it a go. Starting from scratch at 32 is some effort. It's a dream for many of us to play on the telly, and he's living it :)

Pavel is an inspirational individual.

Loved this take by one of the Cricbuzz journos - https://twitter.com/BdJCricket

"These aren't the best players in Europe nor even all the best players in their respective countries. They are real actual cricket clubs, and clubs are the building blocks of cricket in Continental Europe.

So yes, the clubs from countries where cricket is barely a fringe sport will be pretty village. The clubs where it is a largely minority sport will be largely made up of 1st/2nd/3rd generation immigrants.

It's not always going to look great on the field. But off the field, back home in their respective countries and others that might aspire to send teams in the future, I suspect it's doing a lot more for European cricket than franchise or even international cricket.

Every club side in Romania or Italy right now is thinking that it could be them, they could do better. Train hard, win the league, have a shot at bowling to a guy averaging 145 in ODIs, or facing the guy that that's got Brendan Taylor in his pocket."

Pavel Florin is my new favourite cricketer, no joke. It's people like that who keep grassroots cricket alive and I feel sorry for anybody making fun of him.

He hadn't heard of cricket before he was into his thirties, he once drove 500km overnight to play in a club game, he's now president of his club and he broke his leg not long ago and played this tournament on one leg.

He's a cricketing hero.

I watched some of the Findorff v whoever it was game yesterday and that was a good tight game. Turned on the final near the end of the first innings and that was an absolute massacre but still, I've been really surprised by the production values for their first tournament. Funny how Pavel Florin in one over has probably done more for Eastern European cricket than the powers that be have done in years.

His back foot must be very close to the return crease at times?

Perhaps some of those people on the interweb taking the p*ss are good cricketers?

Perhaps they should go over there and offer some coaching and constructive advice?

I know I would if I was any good and had the time!
