Slazenger SXI classic

loved that bat, profile was outstanding and absolutely flew for 50 quid until it broke at the splice, took it back to owzat and got a pure blade classic complete with white painted back, never liked that one as much even though i hit my one and only 50 with it and still have it to this day,

then was an incurza, and then i joined the forum....

I started off with a harrow Woodworm Torch Pioneer (12 year old me wanted "a bat like KP" )

My first Short Handle bat was a Woodworm Satellite bronze. I've always been a bit of a brand whore... :-[

The good old days when you could pick up a decent bat for less than £100. Mine cost £60.

Never used a woodworm. I was tempted back in 2005.

Duncan Fearnley VR5*, brilliant bat. If it was good enough for the mighty Viv then it was good enough for me. Lasted for years, unlike bats of today.

SS Turbo Supreme. Trying to emulate Gooch. Great bat and seemed at the tender age of 16 to be all middle.

Puma Evolution.

Think I bought it after Craig Kieswetter clapped the Aussies in the 2010 T20 World Cup Final

Duncan Fearnley Extra Cover.  It was as thick at the shoulders and toe as it was in the middle.

County Caerulex.
An absolute gun of a bat.
My first scoring shot with it was a leg glance for 6. I remember scoring 46 not out from a chase of 54, after walking out to bat at number four with the score board reading 0-2 after 2 balls...

Not a game I will forget easily!
