Anyone here used the moonwalker helmet. They look pretty slick, although kind of shiny for my liking.

I have seen them up close, they are pretty light and provide good protection. 75 GBP is a good price for a helmet.

Thanks @InternalTraining. I am thinking of giving it a shot. However, I have two from Ayrtek already including one Rawtek. So, not sure if it is a wise thing to do atm ;).

Bit nervous on the Moonwalkr that but does look good.  After adding shipping and customs charges probably the same as a decent UK one and at least I know it would be genuine if i stay in UK.
Love the Arytek ones but not sure i can stump up that sort of money :-( Torn now!

The PremAYR range is available now that offers the air liner but with plastic shell. 👍

Is the Moonwalker helmet legal?  I remember Shreyas Iyer using last year or the year before that and now he is using Masuri.

It’s not the on the ECB/ICC list of approved helmets so wouldn’t be allowed in tournaments retaliated by them.

In my experience AyrTek is one of the best if not he best helmet in terms of design, safety and comfort.

I might have to try one.  Just realised that my Masuri is not the new standard, and to be fair to Masuri they have offered a really good discount to replace it, but thinking i like the AyrTek idea too so a bit torn right now although the Ayrtek is quite a lot more.
