I've seen a few videos with "grips" on the bat mallet handle.  The standard grips seem too large for this, so any idea where you get the thinner rubber grips from? (its  GN one I have).
Need one to reduce the vibrations due to tendonitis really. Suggestions for alternatives that are durable if not?

How about a tennis racquet grip? You can get some super duper thick ones that would do the trick. Just make sure you get a replacement grip, and not an overgrip.

thats plan b i think, just wondered where they get the grips from, guess i could do the tennis one underneath and then a standard on top?

the handle seems too thin for that, maybe just needs padding out first

Wrap some medical tape round the handle to make it thicker before applying the grip

Or buy an LV mallet from Elviar's shed and the handles are thick enough to just apply a grip straight away

I would be interested to know if anyone has a contact for narrower bat grip than the standard dimensions.  My Club has a few of the junior plastic bats with similar dimension handles to a bat mallet that need new grips and obviously building out the handle with medical tape isn't an option

@SD We have the same with All Stars and the suggestion was to just take them off totally when the started to deteriorate (which was ridiculously fast!).  Alternatively use racquet grip tape instead or guess you could possibly even use zinc oxide tape if no one has allergies to it?  Haven't found anywhere with the thin ones (even tried the ECB), and its almost like they react with the plastic bats they fell apart that fast?

We have had the same trouble with them falling apart quickly.  I did try to get a contact from the ECB but got a similar response which I found bizarre since someone must make them to put on the bats in the first place

Yeah was a bit disappointing as the parents want them too.  In these days of plastic waste we are in danger of creating a load with when people consider them unusable plastic bats as the grip is broken.  Shame really as the kits are pretty good otherwise. Clubs could even make a pound or two on a grip by selling them to parents to offset repairing their own bats.   The problem for us is that the kit bags need new grips even after only a single season but we can't get any, and makes it look poor for the start of next season.

Someone must make them though?
