Any update on when Adidas will be releasing their 2020 range. Looking forward to seeing what the pads and gloves are going to be like ?

Bit odd as it should have happened by now. I am guessing 2020 stock should be out in the next few weeks.

Seen the kit a few months back. Think it’s 15th December for the softs, shoes will be in January and the vectors in March. Top end shoes have the new boa system

Pardon my ignorance but what's the new boa system?

Puma disc type of thing where you turn it it tighten the hair rather than old school laces.

Really good, use it on golf shoes / cycling shoes  and works very well now.
Basically turn a dial to do up / undo your laces and it pulls equally across your foot to make it a great fit, personally find it better than laces that i can;t be bothered to tighten each time towards the bottom for example.  Very reliable

Boa dials on a cricket shoe do sound interesting, pretty much ubiquitous on top end cycling shoes. Like the idea of being able to easily slacken your shoes off a bit at fine leg in between overs!

Adidas have always been a bit useless at promoting their own products, anyone got any idea when we might see shots of new softs?

It will be interesting to see where they put the boa dial. If it’s in its usual place of on top of the foot, it might not survive the impact if a fast bowler pins you with a yorker.

Yes it’s at the top of the tongue of the shoe.

Use your bat to hit it or get cleaned up instead and it won't be an issue...  ;)

Has anyone got any pictures of the softs - I see some retailers have set up pre orders on them.. don’t want to take the risk until they look similar too 2018/2019 XT 1.0 pads/gloves.

Yes it’s at the top of the tongue of the shoe.

Worst case scenario: if the BOA snaps for some reason, is it possible to insert a standard shoe lace/string?

Knowing the golf shoes I'd very much doubt it. Its more of a plastic wire, but it's all hidden in the golf shoes so you don't see it. Wouldn't have thought it would be a DIY replacement job.
