Stunning little bat.....

I happened to be passing Charlie French so popped in for a chat and a look at what he does.
Long story short, I gave him a few details and then this happened.......
Sadly not mine but will get great satisfaction in giving this as a gift to a little someone special.

What a top bloke, and top bat in my view!

In the days where buying equipment can cost you a leg or an arm, their prices seem extremely reasonable! I remember hearing this name before on the forum but don’t know any specifics. Also it looks like they make theirs from absolute raw materials (not part made etc.).

Nice bat. Top man is Charlie and he makes a good bat too. All made from scratch I believe including handles unless he has changed recently.

He showed me the cleft he was going to use for it, and the process he uses including some part way through.  Looks amazing and the photos don't do it justice!  On top of that a really nice bloke with a true passion for the game and what he does.

Best bat I've ever had was Charlie French..if it wasn't the need to try other brands I'd be back to Charlie for a clone!

Cost me £165!!! Back in 2008!!!! Like you I was just passing in the area after having a business meeting...


I said to myself ... 'I dont need to go to Charlie French ' ... but my hands just steered the car there...

Once there I said to myself I just need to have a look around that's all...


The rest is history... left with Fusion shape with limited edition stickers..

I gave it to a mate but I hope he still ha sit as I want it back...

PS it doesn't have massive edges but it pings like mad.. hit some big shots with it!

Nerd alert but do I remember a CF Bat winning the gear test by one of the magazines back in 07/08 ish?
I think it was the Advance. Only ever heard good things about CF, seems to be a really under the radar brand!

Thats good to hear and came so close to pulling the trigger myself and if i hadn't have grabbed a new bat the week before i would probably have bought one there and then!  Its amazing - my car veered to his too......  MAGIC?????  Next one for me is from him i think to see (although may have a play with this one first even though it is a little smaller!)
