Scott cricket bats
« on: November 17, 2019, 09:48:42 PM »

So here's a look at the bats I've been producing and the first set of stickers I've had made, in white and black. All bats are pre-pressed part mades, which I shape and finish myself by hand obviously.

I've just started an Instagram page so would appreciate a follow if anyone is willing.

I'm absolutely loving every part of the process, but obviously learning all the time. So any feedback/constructive criticism is appreciate :D

Let me know what you think...

Very nice. Smart and clean stickers on sweet sticks.

Seeing as I’m called Scott and have a white rose tattoo I think I am obviously top of the list of people to endorse these products..... I wouldn’t bring much exposure to the brand outside of my family mind!

VERY nice indeed. Great profiles, and I’m very much a fan of the less is more approach to stickering. Top effort!

Cheers fellas, appreciate the comments.

@ScottParko its like they were designed for you! However Scott is my surname and the white rose obviously a nod to where I was born, raised and still based. Although the rose is optional onnthe bats obviously! How many people in your your family play cricket tho? :D

Look really good mate, great to see someone new trying there hand and actually being involved in the making as opposed to adding stickers to pre-made bats.
Big fan o the front and toe stickers, not so keen on the top back sticker but that’s just me, at least it’s different to just matching the back sticker.
Profiles look really good mate and decent sized bats.

Wow these look great! Love the profiles and the stickers are classy but modern. I'm a fan! Top work :)

Look far better than Luke Wright's brand efforts already!

Love the Yorkshire rose! Only comment would be that I'd change the 'hand crafted in England' font to something less generic and more sophisticated, but I think they look top notch and that is just nit picking really.

Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback. Especially from someone who's owned their fair share of willow!  :D

I appreciate the stickers might not be to everyone's taste, but I wanted to put my own personality into them a bit too and the Scott logo was my design from the start, so wanted this on the back.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment, all feedback is really helpful and appreciated!

Thanks mate, that's great feedback! I had a lot of help with the stickers obviously, so can't take all the credit. I just had the initial idea of the logo, layout and how I wanted them to look.  So I actually asked for the 'Handcrafted' part to be changed to this style, as it was originally in joined up/older style font  which I didn't think fitted in with the rest of the stickers :(  :D Definitely something to consider in the future though.

These bats were not shaped to anyone's requirements and were to promote and show people the initial product. I suppose they're made to my idea of nice profiles, so really glad you like them.  Obviously we all differ, so I'm not planning on having stock shapes as such.

I like the front stickers but there is something about the back ones that just don't seem right. Might be the coverage of the bat on the front and then so much wood on the back, not sure. Anyway, I like them.

Thanks, appreciate you taking the time to comment mate and understand where you're coming from. I did toy with a white background on the back, but thought they'd have just been a bit 'Adidas' and generic.

I’d go for clear stickers at the front, rather than coloured stickers at the rear. Show off as much of the lovely willow as you can.
