Aren't the Neon ones from the RS template used by several  other brands - including 'have a hunt around' Hunts County?

B&S softs have been superb for me this season and also use the small men’s size. All the features of a pad at £100 plus and well below this price point. Leather instep, padded straps, carbon detail and top end protection. And plain white so go with any bat, glove combo

Possibly these too? Like a lot of these decisions, I've realised, it probably mostly depends on which brand you want to be seen wearing.

@SOULMAN1012 Chris, I've got a set of the B&S ones but I've found them very squeaky to be honest.

Another vote for the Neons when they're back in stock. Love mine, very comfy and the small men's size is perfect for the more average sized gentleman.

Used the GN Legends this season and I love everything about them. Small top flap, perfect fit, light, straps proper length and they look the part.

Not cheap but neither are Ferraris

Robinsons don't make Hunts softs.

I haven't used them but I really like the look of the SG Test white pads.

Have been impressed with Gray-Nicolls Kronus Test which are available direct from G-N UK for £64.99 and there is stock available in Medium RH. I am borderline Small Mens size but these fit me very well in Medium.

Simply cannot go wrong with GN Legend pads. It’s the safest bet imo.

I think I meant SS? There are quite a lot of brands with similar detailing on their high-end models. (And probably low-end too, if I looked.)

GN legends for me too.  Easily the best pad I have ever used.  Comfy straps even when batting in shorts which are a sensible length (I.e. don't need doubling back on themselves), small top hat that fits perfectly, top protection and traditional styling that I like

I got the top oblivion stealth pads, previously I had the top powerbow 6 pads and foolishly sold them, so I would go anything top end gn. comfy, best straps and best fit for me. The top pads in the ranges i.e. powerbow, oblivion etc are usually 20-30 cheaper than legends and just as good.

I can assure you my softs and luggage are far from a "template" design (and the bats for that matter!). You are right to an extent across the market though, the majority of small brands just have their logos applied to the stock mould of whichever chosen manufacturer they use.

Funnily enough it tends to be those designs I've spent countless hours on being used by other brands/manufacturers, albeit a season behind (one example being my 2020 duffle design in the grey/white colour scheme, now being offered by another Indian supplier in an almost identical design as their 'new 2021 line').

Speaking of which the 2021 range is pretty much coming to the end of production now, hoping to have it all in hand this side of December providing COVID and the shipping ports play ball! Very excited by a few of the new products coming
