It's broadcast on Bt Sport over here. Great thing about BT is that they don't broadcast England matches, so you can just watch other teams playing (Aus, NZ, Pak, IPL, BBL...) without worrying about England batting collapses...

Is the BBL going to go on for about 9 months again this time, or have they changed the format again?

I imagine they cant really have it overlap the IPL as a lot of the players will be off there for the money!

Oooh, Hales is using DSC. didn’t realise he had left GN. They’re really throwing some money at sponsorship at the moment.

They've picked up quite a few players in the Thunder side

Just clocked that, they're nice looking bats to be honest. I like the look of their duffle bag but it's the ridiculous names attached that put me off them (See also SM cricket). Imagine turning up to nets with INTENSE RAVE across the top of your bag....

Asian cricket (or any sporting goods) manufacturers don’t exactly have a reputation for subtle or sensible names.

Intense Rave... perhaps you could turn up with some speakers inside it, playing said genre of music and carrying glow sticks.

I actually think that's the fun thing about the Indian /Pakistan makers: the design is completely over the top, bright colours, big words etc.! My favourites are still the BDM logos which are stamped and burned onto the bats : lightning flashes and big lettering. It's not subtle, but it's the opposite of the UK custom bat makers.

And some of the SS Sunridge bat stickers are pretty unsubtle at the moment with a huge SUNRIDGE label down the length of the back. There must be a copyright issue there with Surridge?

Do they even care about copyright? still knocking out the SS logo. I actually quite like the Retro stickers that Sunridge and BAS are doing, was very tempted to get one from OLS.

Glenn Maxwell has just had a great knock for the Stars, 83 of 39.
