Zip replacement
« on: December 30, 2019, 01:20:01 PM »

Hi. Has anyone every tried having the zip repaired on a duffle bag. I have a Gray Nicholls Supernova which is a great bag but the top zip has disintegrated and was hoping to get it fixed rather than replace the whole bag. Any ideas. Happy Christmas

Do you mean the toggle part of the zip has broken or the plastic bit with the teeth?

Also what size is it as I've got some spare toggle bits somewhere having mended a bag or 2 in the past.

I had a similar bag for carrying around other sports kit that had the zip go. Look up a tailor in your local area, chances are they'll be happy to fix a bust zip for around a tenner.

Beat me too it! this is exactly what I have done in the past.

Thanks for the replies, I will see if I can find a tailor as it's the zip bit that's torn. Cheers
