Black Friday Grade 1

Got in touch with Matt to see what he had kicking around the workshop, he sent me this picture a couple of hours later

I said yes instantly, I said around 2.14 and as full as he can with good balance. Got this, granted it’s not light but there is a lot of wood throughout the whole profile! It’d probably squeeze through a gauge similar to the Keeley. Picks up nicely for the weight, taps up really well, never had a bat off Matt that doesn’t. Here’s the pics

Looks lovely, would have thought that would have been a Pro Grade cleft. Lovely profile and great to see a H4L on here. Also well done on getting a reply from them in a couple of hours usually takes weeks but I guess that’s a mark of how busy Matt is now. Also love the pink/black stickers

Yeah, lovely spread of willow right across the profile,,,and again I’d agree as to why that’s a grade one and not a pro.
Just wish I could  use a bat that weight these days

I’ve never had an issue getting a reply, always gets back to me fairly quickly to be honest. Matt has always been great to deal with, he makes fantastic bats as well!! Must have 7-8 at present that any one of them could be my match bat
