Have a one up one down system but have it so that if you get Under a certain points in Div1 you go down (so you could come last but not go down, to save them going down and dominating) And you have to get a certain amount of points to go down again..... Sorry about going off topic :D

hmmm, but how can that point system work? I know they have that point system for rankings for the world, but there are 2 tables, one for test and one for ODI. Now as you know every playing nation has ODI status, but are you saying that if a Div1 team goes up, then they should get test status??!!

I agree that a couple of teams should go to division 1, but I dont know how you can do it without taking away the test status for WI and Zim

Yeah, separate one for ODI and Test. And ZIM don't have test status anyway.
 Then they could run It over two years. Maybe they could introduce a Div2 test status so to speak. So like they can play 5-day first class matches, but the ICC being stingy ******** don't have to fund them the way they do the others? But WI would be in the main status group dispite being in div 2? lol
