my money is on chennai super kings with hayden, dhoni, hussey etc i think they are the team to beat

Mr. Cricket - Agree that the Chennai squad is very solid but with injuries to Flintoff and Oram and with your namesake only playing in the second half it might be tough. The bowling is especially weakened with injuries and loss of form -Ntini is a spent force and Murali has been ineffective recently on Indian pitches (although with a giant like that one can never rule him out). But if Hayden hits top form, they can go a long way. Dhoni and Raina are fair weather friends in 20/20 though and I can't see them turning matches on their own...even on home pitches.

But I have to admit I am biased towards Delhi!

That would be pretty awesome if Warner fires! Sehwag, Dilshan and Warner at the top of the order!! If they indeed play both Dilshan and Warner. It would be a great for the spectators though if they load the quota of the overseas players towards the batsmen. And oh, I forgot about AB, who will be handy to finish off where the top order leaves...

i think when you look at all the teams you can't really say there is a bad one, i think the games will be won by individuals...
But by who...

Doubt Warner would make the starting line up. Nannes, Vettori and Dilshan are the 3 overseas players Delhi all ways pick. Then there's Parnell, Warner, Collingwood.

In domestic 2020 they allow and hour and a half to bowl 20 overs, plus 15 minute break

Just checking the odds on Bet365.

Hayden favourite for Top Batsman.
Steyn Bowler
And Delhi to win.

Steyn got hammered in the India vs South Africa ODI series, so bet 365 must be praying on the stupid to put on Steyn.

Nannes for me.

Gambhir will be number 3 this time. In sub-continent conditions, there's no point wasting Dilshan/Warner at 3.

Gauti as an opener is possible but unlikely if Dilshan is playing (which he will given his batting + fielding + offies).

the thing i like about the IPL is that the teams are almost all very well balanced, you cant say that there is one really terrible team who know haven't got a chance and no team that will defiantly win, thats what makes it so good

my money is on Delhi Daredevils :D
