Watched the IPL game this afternoon after work.  Was the first time I had seen any of the IPL.  Initial impressions were that the atmosphere sounded great, and some of the cricket was reasonable.  But the TV coverage was horrible, except the rather attractive lady on the ITV4 couch.  And time outs in a cricket match - awful!  T20 in England is a much more watchable product, but I would still watch a one sided Test match over any sort of this shorter form of the game.  I really enjoyed watching Alistair Cook craft an innings today, even against poor bowling, and T20 doesn't offer that kind of satisfaction.

I may watch one or two more of the games to see if it can spark any interest in me, but I'm not hopeful.

Not convinced the studio staff, dont really seem to have a clue!
Anyway looks like this mornings game could be good, wouldnt really like to be an opening bowler at the moment! jayasuriya and tendulkar opening, ouch!
