Yeh it's amazing how hard that little thing hits it, his bats aren't that big either.

Does anyone else think that Robin Uthappa is hitting the biggest sixes of the tournament so far - watched him yesterday and i was shocked out how cleanly and far he was hitting the ball. Eoin Morgan dissapointed again, shame as i had hoped he would make a few runs.

batting at 6 in a t20 team doeasnt exactly give you much chance, i think if they gave morgan a proper go instead of "the wall" or kohli, he would make tons of runs!

i would have him opening with kallis, i think they would bat very well together

Why would Kumble have two overseas players opening? It's called the Indian Premier League, not International Premier League.

Secondly, Pandey and Kohli are better than Morgan. Pandey's the next great Indian batting star. Kohli's ODI stats p*ss all over Morgan's.

In my opinion, when Morgan gets going, he could be one of the best players in the IPL. Ok, admittedly, he has had a difficult opening, but I think he will come good soon. He is a high quality player and his last few innings for England proved that! Just going through a bad patch.

Kohli's ODI stats p*ss all over Morgan's.

Granted, at the moment Kohli's ODI record is a lot better. How do their Twenty20 records compare?
Kohli  -    Twenty20 Games - 43 Avg. 22.06   SR 119.73   100s 0   50s  2
Morgan - Twenty20 Games - 50 Avg. 22.90   SR 125.36   100s 0       50s  4

In twenty20, the format we're discussing they're pretty similar.

Morgan has been coming in usually quite late for england, what number does kohli bat?

also the indians have been doing well in ODIs, we had a 5-0 white wash only a few months ago, easy to perform when your side is winning matches.
