Marsh 59 in 3 knocks @ 19.66 - not setting the world on fire. He is a good player, but Bopara can feel aggrieved.

Bopara has set the world on fire either and if i had to pick a batsmen who i would put my mortgage on it certainly wouldn't be Ravi. Sangakkara and Jayawardena are a different class compared to ravi and both have done OK imo however not much back up from the rest of the team.

The batting order changes to much for my liking and as people have said
Yuvraj has been very poor but to class him as a mug shows who the mug is.

Rich if you don't follow Indian cricket, this is regarding Yuvraj, then your the mug. He is often criticized yet does the same stupid things again and again.

No-one has claimed responsibility yet.

Very fortunate no-one was killed

Whats everyone's thoughts be on he IPL so far this year - personally, as is the same every year, i watch the first few games intently and my enthusiasm for it slowly fizzles out as the spectacle becomes regurgetated match after match - having said that, i'll be trying to get to as many one day matches this year as possible (in the UK)

Its really exciting, but I feel its a bit long.. Just waiting for the Semis now..

I would recommend BCCI - to start its own channel and broadcast all this own their own.. During the IPL they can follow each team like in a reality tv show.. That would be fun to watch all these international superstars with young and local Indian players..

No haven't had my lunch beer yet.. But I will in a hr..  :D

Ya would love to see how these players would interact with the locals and each other during the tournament. Read somewhere that Yuvi met the Dalai Lama before the last match, that would be interesting to see the wise one talking to Yuvi about arrogance and how to be humble or something along those lines...

Dom if you think this year' IPL is dragging on, next year will be even longer!!!

For me, IPL1 was brilliant. No adverts, no stupid advertising boundaries ie DLF maximum, no time outs.

IPL2 and IPL3 are to much about making money and not about the cricket.

Really is dragging now, watched the first few games but just waiting for the knockout rounds now. Advertising doesn't really bother me but is a bit funny to hear the citi moment of success stuff.

maxx mobile time out my favourite as maxx mabolie are probably paying an absolute bomb to be associated with what is essentially nothingness as the players have a quick chat about what theyre having for dinner etc.

Jeet - i've already been beaten into submission by the whorish advertising, i think next year i'll give it a miss if thats your prognosis.........i hate to think how much worse it could get, i thought it was bad enough this year with all the cheesy catch phrases!!!
