He only seems to have limited scoring shots. He will be easily exposed on international level.

Yeah ... an "in the arc out the park" player.

That 'baggage' will catch up with him and his team sometime ... like when a quick single or a push for 2  is needed ... or even his partner who has faced some dots and knows he cannot release the pressure with a quick single on offer and is forced to take more risks.

Fitness is definitely important in T20s, what makes good teams great is their running between the wickets, and probably more importantly, the standard of fielding. He’ll never make it at Intl level because of those reasons. A good T20 side adds 20+ to their total with the above. A bad side can lose 20+. Can’t be compromised on at elite level
