Replacing outdoor net surface
« on: February 25, 2020, 08:17:38 PM »

Hi guys,

My club have just one outdoor net lane and the surface is quite frankly shocking making it pointless to use. It's my aim for this season for the club to start having regular net sessions, but before we can do that I need to replace the surface so that we can actually see some benefit from the sessions. I'm unsure what the current felt-like material actually is, but can see it's sat on top of a concrete base.

Has anybody got any experience of replacing the surface of an outdoor net lane? If so, which companies did your clubs use? And did you just buy the material and replace it yourselves, or did you pay an external company to provide the materials AND perform the work?
