Funky is run by the owners of Cricket Hockey, located in Downton, just outside of Salisbury, so the link you have shared above is their website. A few years ago, the local leagues down here in Dorset/Hampshire were full of these bats, not so much nowadays. I had a Slug 150 a few years ago, which I think was the Grade 2 model, and it was excellent value for money. Nice, chunky profile albeit with a slightly thin handle.

I used a funky l. E last season for £200 can't really go far wrong. Very big full profile, decent ping, definitely Asian made. handle had a wobble towards the end of the season cricket hockey offered a repair or replacement. The first one i used a couple of years ago was very good however again had a handle issue over time. I don't remember it being overly thin. Can't fault the performance on either!
