Gray Nicholls Ignite
« on: April 29, 2020, 10:02:02 AM »

Thought to make a new thread for this remarkable Ignite.
Weight is 2.9lb
Spine runs all the way to it's toe,
Thick handle, picks up lighter.
I've just added a lot of pictures for you to have close look grin every angle.
What you guys think of it's toe?

The handle looks an interesting shape from the photos, I could be wrong but does it go thinner as it meets the bat?

What you think of it's toe? Thinner on outside edge?

Ahhh I didn’t notice that on the toe! Haha well with my batting style of stand and swing sadly I think I’d break that toe 😂 what’s the pick up like on it? I haven’t seen one of these for a while but when I did see one they went quite well!

Take most of the stickers off apart from the red Gray Nicolls and it would look much better imo

The toe looks a bit of a mess to my mind, but I hope is is a pinger.

Yes, amount of wood that is left in this bat, makes me guess, it would have been 2.12lb, if this was normal full profile bat. It's initially is very good.
Yes, it's toe is the only part that puzzled me.
Guess that in those days it was in type of thing. Batters are more likely to hit inner toe edge than outer edge.
This all means it's pick up nothing than excellent.
Going to change it's grip to a thinner one, as it handle think enough for me, zone pro one.
Third bat actually reminds me of Xiphos, with such a chunk of wood till it's stickers.
