An image isn’t as easy to decide as in person, however it looks a pretty basic repair with limited impact on performance so would seem a bit extreme to suggest its not worth repairing
It’s a difficult balance and most things can be repaired, it’s just if it’s worth doing it. I see so many pointless repairs completed on social media, just because they can be repaired doesn’t mean they should be. Bats split fully in half are being repaired. Why I have no idea. It’s very easy to repair something that’s not worth it and take the customers money but that’s not right. Whilst no guarantees can be placed on if a repair will last, if I’m not confident that it will last a reasonable time or That it won’t be detrimental to the performance I won’t do it.
I do offer a discount off my bats in Lieu of what would be spent on the repair if it went ahead, but I think if you are honest with both your price for the repair and if it’s worth it then I don’t see this being an issue.
