GM Siren LE & 909
« on: June 19, 2020, 04:13:21 PM »

After 2 size 6 siren’s from amazon - They managed to get it right third tome with a 909 for £130 And a LE for £300

Specs:
909
2lb 7.5oz
33mm edges

LE
2lb 8oz
32mm edges

The GN velocity was purchased of eBay for £55 - don’t think it’s Aus made (Correct me if I’m wrong), but certainly does ping

£55 for the GN?! Fantastic buy. I'm jealous.

GM make a lovely bat, too. Are you going to keep both?

909 looks just as good. Have a Noir 808 and it's as good as some G1s I've had.

Was surprised the GN seller had listed it for that price - shows how prices on eBay have dropped quite a bit

Will probably send the LE back, the 909 feels better and pings slightly better - if I’m honest if I paid £450 (Price it’s sold at other retailers) for the LE I’d be slightly disappointed.

Oddly both bats were shipped from Germany

Are the shapes (909 vs LE) different or is it just the camera angle that makes them look different?

Exactly the same shape - just the way the photos were taken

The LE is going back and managed to get amazon to price match the first 909. So another one on it’s way for £130

The 909 looks great value. I was going to buy that one if it got down to £120.I also got sent the two size 6 Sirens. You think they would learn from the 'reason for return' box.

How do you get amazon to price match a second purchase?

Spoke to them on their online chat and complained about a few delivery dents on the back of the bats, and asked if they could match the price. Was the last 909 left

Can’t imagine they are making much profit selling at that price

Making a profit? That’s making a loss trust me. Cash flow issues for whoever supplied the bat to Amazon on fulfilment
