Amen finally the couple of wands currently on the work bench are these:

First is a long Blade copy of a previous bat I made for the same player but a little lighter. SL06 profile mid middle with round handle. This will be 3lb finished with 40mm edges and light to moderate concaving. His previous bat was 3lb 4oz which was basically a handled cleft lol. Grade 2 oh and this lad plays Kent Prem so very decent level so not all players use light bats.

Secondly are the two nicest clefts grains wise, weight wise and up there ping wise since I’ve been sourcing my own willow, the left one has sold and will be an AM18 the heartwood cleft is available.

No BS or marketing gimmicks with Pro grade G1+++ nonsense, shame my surname doesn’t carry more weight or I could just put £1000 price tags on them and weight for people to fall over them selves to get them lol. lovely G1 clefts and lovely club player prices.

I have a lot of respect for what you are doing and making bats for people at an affordable price.
The simple fact is he can charge whatever he wants for a bat as he has been making them since before many of us were even born. Concentrate your efforts on honing your skills down, making the best bats you possibly can, instead of venting anger at someone who has earned the right to charge what he wants for bats.

Also, if people stopped buying at that price, then Tim wouldn’t sell at that price. It’s simple business. I agree it’s a ridiculous sum, but ultimately he is in the business of making money.

Don't think it's that simple!
Any well established bat maker's top range bats will be evenly as good as any TK or even better!
Therefore they should put a £1000 tag on all their top bats!

Well that's a matter of opinion. There are plenty of stories of expensive "top range" bats that have been complete duds. I'd never spend £1000 myself but with TK you know what you're getting which is clearly part of the attraction.

If you think you are speaking the truth, then you are one hundred percent more delusional than I thought.

As someone who has the privilege of working in the business and designing bats for pro cricketers and customers of all abilities I'm amazed at some of these comments.

Less moaning about Keeley and more on topic please. Nice bats to talk about and we can all have a chuckle at Chris not noticing that someone's written '(No Swearing Please)' in the dust on his lathe...

It was a tongue in cheek comment and not to insult any TK fans or indeed undermine what he or any others do just find it mental personally that people pay that.

What’s annoying now about the forum and most comments now isn’t it’s not about the bats I make, shapes I design or copy or what I or the other new and upcoming bat makes do, it’s about a comment that’s made and the arguing and drivel that then comes from it and really no comment, feedback or view on what’s actually there to be spoken about. Not just on my posts but plenty of others and seems now all people want to do is pick holes in something, argue every comment made and tbh it’s just frustrating.
