Blue stickers look really smart. Purely personal choice but I'd prefer it without the model number sticker, or maybe something more subtle that could be overlaid on the splice sticker, but really nice either way. Looks a cracking size for the weight as well, plenty of bang for your buck.

Thanks for the feedback and I actually really agree on the model stickers but I want to identify the difference in the range but when I sit down and design or look at the next phase of the companies branding I will look at address the model stickers and how to better incorporate into the design. Iv player about a little with placement of the model stickers but currently this is the best overall option. Hard catering for all tastes lol

Took a bit of time between all the mid season refurbs to make a new wand. Iv got a few clefts in to try from a different source and this is the first one from that batch.

High spine, 33mm edges, 22mm toe and 18mm shoulders, spine into the handle and thick chunky toe toe with a mid middle. Wasn’t trying to produce this shape it just kind of came together this was as I tend to make full profiles in stock shapes.

Decided to put this one in my own kit bag unless someone wants it before I play next.

Weight is 2lb 9oz with medium thick semi oval handle.

Lovely copy of an old favourite. Was nice to make something where the spec wasn’t “big edge, full profile” quite happy how it turned out.  Finished 2lb 7oz and fingers crossed will last the owner 20yrs like his last one. That must be blasphemy on here lol

Love it mate! Agree that it's nice to see a more traditional shape and size, I don't particularly look for big edges and full profile, so like the fact someone is sticking with a favourite profile and not succumbing to the trend. Plus a great change up for you I imagine.

Finally after 4 seasons and being the first bat I ever made under the Willow & Wand brand I have had to make a new wand and here she is AM18 profile 2lb 9oz stunning half and half heartwood. Went alright on her first outing today.

Finished up this stunner today. I Don’t sell bats as G1+ etc but this is certainly one of the best grain wise that’s passed through since I started in 2018. Anyway 2lb 9.4 in the EH21 profile and off to a lad in the Surrey Prem.

Love that bit of willow, the grains and colour pairs well with the sticker colouring. The blemish right at the toe is perfect, will keep the toe strong - top work. :)

Cheers @Chad yes it’s a lovely piece of willow 1:100 these days I reckon. The gold/black works really well on sapwood clefts as you say

Recent model based on a copy of one of the earliest bats I made but with some refinement that’s come with practise weight is 2lb 9oz bang on.

And these are from a new supplier cleft wise that’s allowed me to make from a raw cleft that’s just been pressed and handle fitted. Allows greater specs and choice of shape. These are available if anyone is interested to find out what my bats are like in profiles that I personally prefer
